Teen Read Week Author Visit:  Becca Fitzpatrick
Becca Fitzpatrick, New York Times bestselling author of Hush, Hush, will make special appearances at the Austintown and Poland branch libraries to discuss writing novels for teens and
to talk about her recently released novel Crescendo.  Here’s your chance to find out what’s going on with Nora and Patch!  Copies of Crescendo will be available for sale and participants will have the opportunity to have their books signed by the author at this event.  An open registration is currently being held and is limited. American Youth Symphony Presentation
This presentation will explore the state of instrumental craft and performance within the MTV-Hip Hop generation and will include a condensed version of the jazz play It's a Hardbop Lifefollowed by lively open discussion.  The play has been scaled down to a one-hour/one-musician presentation, featuring Gregory Charles Royal, with additional pre-recorded sound.
